Pictures from the frozen tundra of the South-East...

Hi all!
Welcome to my first post. Older and wiser, (I can oficially become president now.) I am taking a short work break here, which I never do, to post a few pictures on the blog for your viewing pleasure.

These are from the 1-2" snowfall we had last week.

Unfortunately we missed the real action (6-7" reportedly) over the weekend.

Those two blue ones aren't doctored in any way. They were taken right at dusk and as the snow was coming down at it's hardest at that point of the day. It's still a pretty effect though...

............

Heidi was a reluctant model (as always) but, I believe all will agree,
she looks very cute here!

The snowman topper had no qualms about posing. ;-)

............

The next day Kayla came up with us to enjoy some winter scenery.
(All Saint's Chapel from front and rear below.)

............

We drove out to the "Cross" where the view was amazing, as it always is.

The sky was especially blue that morning and the clouds were really white and fluffy looking

Speaking of the "Cross", there is hardly anyone who can visit it and resist taking a few photos of it.

Here are just a couple of pictures that I took that day. The first is from the road approaching the "Cross" and the second was taken from the bluff side

............

I really need to work on getting some evening and morning shots from out there. It's a shame I have to work all day while surrounded by all these photo opportunities.

David
